Gearing up

In March I'll be showing at Grayspace in Reno, Nevada as well as being included in a group exhibit at American River College through Pamela Skinner/Gwenna Howard Contemporary Art in Sacramento. Here are 2 paintings in the works for Reno. More to follow.

Lucha Libre

I found this while cleaning up old folders on my computer. The calaveras (skeletons) were given to friends. The base went to a gal that modeled for a figure drawing class I took at the old Galeria Posada in Sac. The piece was made for a Day of the Dead exhibit on Del Paso Blvd. in it's hay day.

Art Train

Last month I was asked by Bob Lee of the Asian American Art Centre in New York to submit artwork for the Art Train which is a traveling art exhibition on...yes, a train! This is one of the pieces I submitted. We'll see what happens and will let you know.

2 More for Reno!

Two more paintings for Grayspace in Reno . The top one is called, "Mr. Philippine Islands 2007." It's actually a partner to my larger painting, "Pump It Up." The lower painting is, "Tied to Your Lofty Goals. Both paintings are 9" x 12".

The BIG Storm

What a crazy week with the BIG Storm hitting CA dumping tons of water and whipping up high winds. I got into the studio and the lights stayed on long enough to get these paintings to the point where I can spend a few days sizing them up to send to La Luz de Jesus . The middle painting will be shown in Reno in March.
