Micaela Gallery, SF

I've been invited to participate in a group exhibit at Micaela Gallery in San Francisco by Rico Reyes who also curated the exhibit I was in at USF. This month has been so busy that I had to juggle paintings from my Reno show with this one. The paintings top to bottom are Christonite (72" x 84"), Exercise in Mindfulness (40" x 50") and Prosthetic. (18" x 44.25")

Coco's First Artist Lecture

Went to the Berkeley Art Museum on Sunday to see Enrique Chagoya's show. It was a great lecture. Here's a picture of him with Coco who loved the slides. Also holding Coco are artists Kara Maria, Enrique's his wife, and Lava Thomas.

Painting for Reno

A couple weekends ago Carol Satriani, who's moving back to New York, gave me this canvas which she had started to paint trees on. This past weekend I kicked out this painting. In keeping with her initial imagery, I began with the tree woman. The painting is shown nearly completed. Thanks again Carol. Good luck in New York. We'll miss you!

Paintings for Reno

The exhibit at Grayspace is about a month away so I'm in jamming mode till the pick up date. Sara will be driving down to get the work which helps me out alot. This  piece is a 22" x 30" on paper entitled "Limbo."

Juan Carlos Quintana

Went to Juan Carlos Quintana's opening at MACLA in San Jose on Friday, Feb. 1, 2008. Great reception. It was a long day for me driving from Sacramento to Vallejo to San Jose then home, but it also got me energized after seeing his work. Great show JC! Look forward to seeing what's next.
